The Redding housing market never did sky rocket as much as some of the So Cal areas, but none the less it priced most first time buyers out of the market.  During the peak of the real estate market here in Redding you couldn’t touch a livable home for under $200,000. Intrest rates are amazing , there is a first time home buyer tax credit from the IRS–up to $8000, as of today there are 354 houses for sale between $125,000 & $200,000 in Shasta County. I repeat–What are you waiting for??
